Short Description:

This site promotes people teaching Torah on Twitter. It aggregates "tweets" that are marked with "#Torah" creates tools for organizing and categorizing them and provides a platform for those interested in tweeting on Torah share strategies about best practices and how to promote a similar use among by others.

Case Study:

This module relies heavily upon a very sophisticated Drupal module called "feedapi." Every few minutes the site goes to Twitter, whose open architecture allows for third parties to request the transmission of content from Twitter. In this case Torahtweets.org uses an RSS feed created by search.twitter.com to pull in this data.

Once the data is on Torahtweets.org, functionality has been established currently to edit out irrelevant tweets, apply categories and search by author. Other functionalities will be easy to add and are currently being planned.
